 The Uppababy Mesa The Uppababy Mesa is due to arrive in Late June 2013! If you are interested in viewing the car seat in person, the Mesa is available to view in our showroom! The Mesa car seat features a ten second accurate install, and is optimized for preemies with an adjustable harness and head support that will hold from 4lbs- 30 lbs 32 inches. It fits on the Uppababy Cruz without an adapter and if you have an Uppababy Vista the adapters are included in the Mesa box. Come in and view the Uppababy Mesa car seat today! If you have already pre-ordered your Mesa, they will begin to ship in late June 2013.

 City Mini Four Wheel in Black Baby Jogger has announced that it is coming out with a new four wheel design city mini stroller. The City mini Four wheel will feature two front wheels instead of one and will retail for $259.99. The weight capacity on the stroller will now be 65 lbs, making it hold an additional fifteen more pounds of weight than the original city mini three wheel design. It also features a deeper seat than the three wheel design. The stroller is set to launch in July of 2013. It will come in sand/stone and black. All original city mini accessories will work with the City mini Four wheel.

We just returned from the ABC show in Kentucky with all the new information for Uppababy in 2013!
Introducing the Uppababy Mesa infant car seat! The car seat is compatible with both the Vista and the Cruz. The car seat will come with adapters for strollers manufacturer before 2013, and will be compatible with no adapter for 2013 models and up. It is suitable for children 4-35 lbs and 32 inches. It weighs about 10.5 lbs, and has side impact head protection, a sleek canopy and design!
The Uppababy Vista has no new changes for 2013 but Uppababy has added two new colors, Navy and Jade Green. These will be available on 11.15.12. Carlin green and Cole slate have now been discontinued.
The Uppababy Cruz will now have a bassinet available in Black. A light purple Cruz will also be available coming soon.
The Uppababy G-luxe will be available in Magenta and Jake will be all black beginning in February.

Baby Jogger 2012 Updates
 I'm being Updated! Check back for new photos soon! The time has almost come to say hello to the new year and with that comes the beginnings of the 2012 line from Baby Jogger. 2012 will bring so many exciting changes and new strollers from one of our favorite brands!
First on the list to make it out into the public eye is the 2012 City Mini single. The 2012 city mini has been updated in the style department, gaining new colors including a beautiful light blue and grey, and an updated sand and stone. The strollers feature a new frame lock (keeps the stroller closed when it is folded) and a deeper seat for the child. Lastly, the more accessible storage basket on the 2012 city mini is bound to be the best update on this particular stroller in awhile.
The City select is not being updated for 2012, but never fear, Baby Jogger has decided to add a beautiful new Quartz color to the line. The Quartz color is a rich tan and will have all of the features you love about the city select.
The Baby Jogger City Elite single has also been updated for 2012. The fabric has changed, and is being replaced by a beautiful 600 denier canvas, which will really change the look of the stroller.
The 2012 City mini, the Quartz Select and the new 2012 Baby Jogger City Elite will all be out on our showroom floor by the end of January if not the first few weeks of February. We will post updates about new products from Baby Jogger in the coming year including the 2012 City Mini double, and the new City mini GT and City Versa. New Bugaboo accessories!
 Bugaboo Snack Tray $34.95 There has never been a Bugaboo snack tray, so we are more than excited to see one on the market in early 2012! The Bugaboo snack tray features a swing open arm to allow easy access to get your child in and out of the stroller. The tray also completely pulls out of the attached cupholder, making it easy to transition between using it as just a child cup holder, or as a snack tray! The snack tray can be used for either the Cameleon or the Donkey stroller. This new accessory is in addition to the Bugaboo parent organizer which came out in 2011, adding more parent storage and cup holder space to the Cameleon, Donkey or Bee.
The Bugaboo seat liner which came out late last year, now has a new shape, and design any many new bright beautiful colors

Three new colors will join the line for 2012 including Jade Green, Electric Blue and Coral Red. Uppababy Cruz
There has been a trend in the stroller industry towards lighter weight reversible seat strollers. The Uppababy Cruz is a front runner in this trend and the Cruz finally made it into the Strolling in Style showroom and onto the floor.
 Opening the box I had no idea what to expect but I did expect a trimmed down, lighter version of the UPPAbaby Vista. It is essentially what I got, although I wasn’t prepared for the profile of the Cruz, which stands almost at the height of the Vista. Although it sits on a much smaller 8 inch wheel versus a twelve inch, the stroller seat height is just a small smidge lower than the Vista. In other words it sits high up, so if you are attracted to the Vista for that reason, you will really like the Cruz. Side by side, the Cruz has nearly the same profile as the Vista. One thing you will notice about the Cruz and since the wheels are smaller, the wheel to wheel measurement will be about an inch on each side. That gives it a more narrow girth. The wheels, although small, are solid EVA foam, and seem quite durable.
The stroller seat is definitely as large as the seat on the Vista. A bonus added feature compared to the Vista is the height adjustable canopy. As always the Cruz features a pull out UV sunshade and adjustable leg rest. The seat has four positions including a full upright positon and the seat actually reminds us of the Bugaboo Cameleon, with the stitching in the back. In contrast to the Vista there is no front bar or snack tray option although I do see these as accessories that will come available as Cruz gains mores speed and popularity. A clip on accessory could easy go on the seat frame, similar to what you find on the Baby Jogger City Select.
The Cruz has an easy compact fold and can fold with the seat on in the upright position or with the car seat adapter attached. Weighing in at 19 lbs with the seat on, it weighs in at six pounds less than the Uppababy Vista. Although you will miss out on having a bassinet with the Cruz, you can still use a Graco or Chicco infant carrier on the frame.

On the Grow! Convertible car seat offerings at Strolling.
Strolling in Style is pleased to announce that we are expanding our line of convertible car seat offerings for 2012. In 2011 we added the Recaro Pro ride to our line, which has been so well loved! We are ready to offer two new convertible car seat offerings this year, the Diono Radian RXT and the Peg Perego SIP 5/70, which will join the Recaro Pro Ride on our showroom floor.
Diono, which recently changed their name from the former name of Sunshine Kids, has made some great changes to the Radian car seat from their previous line. The Radian RXT is a convertible to booster making it highly versatile because it comfortably seats children from 5-45 pounds rear facing, 40-80 pounds forward facing, and then converts to a high back booster suitable for up to 120 pounds of weight. It has a steel alloy frame reinforced sidewalls, adjustable head support and EPS foam around the child’s head and body to provide complete side impact head protection. More, it folds flat for travel and will fit three across in a row for larger families on the grow! The Diono Radian RXT is now available to view and purchase at Strolling in Style.
 Peg Perego Convertible Peg Perego is also joining the convertible car seat market with their new offering the SIP 5/70. Peg Perego has been a trusted name in infant car seats for years, and they are using their knowledge of safety to bring the convertible car seat to market. The SIP 5/70 also allows a child to rear face from 5-45 pounds and is suitable for up to 20-70 pounds forward facing. EPS side foam in the shell and in the head panel make for superior Side Impact Protection, as does the adjustable side impact head protection. The SIP 5/70 will be launching in a few short days and will be available in store by November.
The final convertible car seat set to hit our shelves in mid 2012 is the Clek Foonf! There is a lot of buzz surrounding the Clek product. We will have more information on the blog about Foonf as soon as it is available to us.
